Sticking to a specific book and completing it before starting another. 

For watching a film without checking my phone - and for the pleasure of that focussed attention, and recognising how bad my addiction to checking social media and applications on my phone has gotten.

Grateful / thankful

- Those paying tribute to the victim's of the Grenfell Tower fire. For those caring, and seeking to understand, seeking help, seeking justice.

- for when I felt frustrated, and that the day was slipping away from me, for taking myself for a walk in the warm sunshine.

- recognising that my desire for a non-nuclear set-up community, although I originally thought it was born of recognising it as an oppressive mechanism of the state, I now realise it is probably conceived from my sympathy for those from broken homes, whereby the wider community became the place of comfort for those people.

- for support in flags, and loud banging pots, our of the window, on the road to Vauxhall Bridge.
